Important!

REGISTRATION
If you are regular attendees, please complete a Visitor/Registration Form to add your child(ren) to the appropriate roster and inform us of any health concerns or special needs. Forms are available at The Adventure Center.

CHECK-IN
Check-in begins at 10:15 am. Before check-in, kindly have children use the bathroom if necessary. For children’s safety, please escort your children to their class for check-in. Volunteers are NOT permitted to escort children to the room or sign them in. After signing the weekly attendance form, parents/guardians will receive a security tag with an ID number that will match the children’s name tag.

CHECK-OUT
At the end of service, please pick up children promptly by returning the security tag and signing the weekly attendance form. Only the parent/guardian that signed the child in may pick up the child from class.

SPECIAL NEEDS
Please alert volunteers of any food allergies, health concerns or special needs by clearly indicating the information on the Visitor/Registration Form.

SHOULD YOUR CHILD NEED ASSISTANCE
Should children need assistance during the service, you will be summoned via their ID number appearing on the digital display located in the main sanctuary. If your child’s number appears, please return promptly to the classroom. If you will be in a location other than the sanctuary (i.e. the nursery) please let us know when signing your child in.

ACCIDENTS AND PARENTAL CONTACT
In the event of a serious accident, the parent/guardian will be summoned via the children’s ID number appearing on the digital display located in the main sanctuary. Basic first aid kits are available in the rooms.

FIRE EVACUATION
In the event of a fire, our priority is to safely evacuate the children from the building in accordance with designated routes. To prevent traffic jams and for the safety of the children, please do not go to the rooms to retrieve the children. Children will be escorted from the building by the volunteers. After all children have been accounted for, parents/guardians may meet their children outside and check them out per the normal procedures.

PROMOTION
One and Two Year Olds are placed in the age appropriate class at the beginning of the quarter after they have turned one or two years old. Promotion to the next grade level occurs at the beginning of the Fall Quarter in September.
