
Sickness Policy

In order to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our children, we ask that children stay at home any time they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
- fever greater than 101 degrees in the previous 24 hours
- vomiting and/or diarrhea within the previous 24 hours
- any symptoms of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, measles, mumps, chickenpox or whooping cough
- runny nose with any colored discharge
- sore throat
- unexplained rashes
- head lice (child should be free of all nits)
- coughing/croup
- conjunctivitis (pinkeye) or other eye infections
If a child is undergoing treatment with antibiotics, he/she must be on the drug for at least 24 hours prior to admittance to Children’s Ministry. Volunteers are not permitted to administer any type of drugs.
